mhec cellulose-Effect of methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose viscosity and ash ratio on the efficacy of fresh cement mortar

(1) Following the addition of cellulose ether, the water reduction rate gradually decreases and becomes larger, and the greater the viscosity, the more the water reduction effect appears. When the viscosity and content of the cellulose ether are the same, the ash-sand ratio decreases and the reduction effect becomes weaker.

(2) Within the range of 0%—0.2% of methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose, the water reduction rate, water retention, volume relative density and cohesive force of fresh water cement mortar are not only affected by the viscosity and viscosity of the cellulose ether. The content is related, and the key is the ratio of lime to sand.

(3) When cellulose ether is not mixed, the relative density of cement mortar volume decreases as the ratio of lime to sand decreases. After adding cellulose ether, the volume relative density of cement mortar decreases as the amount of cellulose ether increases, and the greater the viscosity, the more effective the reduction. Following the decrease in the ratio of lime to sand, the relative volume density also decreases.

(4) When the cellulose ether is not mixed, the water retention rate of cement mortar appears to decrease with the decrease of the lime-sand ratio. After adding cellulose ether, the water retention rate of cement mortar increases as the amount of cellulose ether increases, and the increase increases as the lime-sand ratio decreases.

(5) When the cellulose ether is not miserable, the cohesive force of cement mortar always appears to be extended with the decrease of lime sand. After adding cellulose ether, the cohesive force of cement mortar has two characteristics. One is that it changes with the increase of the amount of cellulose ether, and the other is that its increase increases as the ratio of lime to sand decreases.
